Position: Business Head – Malt Derivative Industry
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 25 years of professional #experience, with at least 5 years as a #BusinessHead in the #Malt Derivative #Industry.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the production of various flours such as #sorghum, #maize, and #soya, providing a valuable advantage.
- Proven experience in driving sales and marketing functions and accountability for delivering profitable P&L results in a company of similar size (sales of at least 20 million US dollars annually).
- Essential exposure and understanding of the Nigerian/African market.
Role and Function:
As the Business Head for a leading malt derivative industry organization, you will take charge of the end-to-end operations at their state-of-the-art facility in #Sango-OTA, #OGUNState, #Nigeria. This facility specializes in brewing, malting, and the extraction of maltose and glucose syrup from raw materials such as sorghum, maize, and cassava.
Your role will encompass both technological and commercial aspects, requiring excellent innovation and networking skills. You will be responsible for developing new applications, expanding the customer base, and fostering sustainable business partnerships. Furthermore, you must have a proven track record of owning and driving the P&L of a similar food derivative business.
Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the #GroupManagingDirector and oversee all functional heads and plant #HODs.
- Lead and drive the malt extraction and derivatives business, encompassing sales and marketing strategy, operational control, raw material procurement, production planning, cost efficiency, and overall P&L management.
- Implement a strategic turnaround plan to double the average revenue within two years and position the organization as a market leader in Nigeria.
