As the #ManagerofDesign, you will play a crucial role in leading the design and development of new products from concept to production. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and production, you will gain a deep understanding of customer requirements and use your creative expertise to develop groundbreaking packaging solutions.
To ensure accurate and feasible designs, you will utilize #CAD/ #CAM software and other design tools to create detailed #2D and #3Dproductdesigns. Thorough research and analysis of market trends, competitor products, and customer preferences will be integral in identifying new product development opportunities.
Generating comprehensive product specifications, you will consider material selection, structural design, graphics, and finishing options while balancing cost-effectiveness and production feasibility. Collaborating with vendors and suppliers, you will ensure the sourcing of high-quality materials that comply with our strict quality standards and cost targets.
In addition to leading design review meetings and providing guidance to the design team, you will ensure adherence to design guidelines, regulatory requirements, and industry standards throughout the product development process. Your collaboration with the production team will be vital in troubleshooting design-related issues during manufacturing, as well as recommending effective solutions.
